ARS-2 AC Remote Station - TrolMaster
The TrolMaster ARS-2 turns any IR remote-controlled air conditioner into a fully automated unit within your Hydro-X, Tent-X or Green-X system. It learns your original remote's IR signals and lets you programme separate Day and Night temperature setpoints across AUTO, COOL and HEAT modes — a direct upgrade over the ARS-1, which only supported one mode. Connected to the controller and its photocell/temperature sensor, the ARS-2 sends IR commands automatically based on light cycle, including the option to keep the unit completely off during one period. No external power needed: runs directly from the RJ12 cable.

TrolMaster ARS-2 AC Remote Station — Automated IR control for your air conditioner
The ARS-2 is TrolMaster's remote station that lets you integrate any IR remote-controlled air conditioner — especially mini-splits — into the Hydro-X, Tent-X or Green-X ecosystem. It learns the signals from your unit's original remote and reproduces them automatically based on temperature and light cycle, with no manual intervention.
Direct evolution from the ARS-1
The key difference from the ARS-1 is the ability to learn and control temperature values across three modes: AUTO, COOL and HEAT. The ARS-1 only allowed temperature configuration under a single mode. With the ARS-2, you get real control over how your air conditioner responds in every situation.
Independent Day/Night programming
Set separate temperature setpoints for daytime and night-time periods. The ARS-2 reads the photocell and temperature sensor status from your connected controller and automatically sends the corresponding IR commands to your AC unit. It also allows you to configure one of the periods so the mini-split stays completely off — ideal for cycles where you don't need active climate control during night or day.
Compatibility and connection
Compatible with TrolMaster controllers HCS-1, HCS-2, HCS-3, TCS-1 and GCS-1. Connects directly via RJ12 cable — no external power supply needed. Includes a micro-SD slot for firmware updates and a rear panel ready for wall mounting.
