The breeder values Rainbow Belts #20 for its aromatic profile, while noting that it takes longer to develop a strong structure during vegetative growth. Pure Afghani adds faster growth and branching to the cross.

Plant appearance and cultivation

T.H.Seeds® describes Candy Belt as an easy-to-grow plant with an open, wide structure, strong side branches and enough space between nodes for flowers to develop along the stems. It stretches moderately as flowering begins and reaches a stated height of 110–150 cm.

The rounded, compact flowers are predominantly light green, sometimes with touches of colour. Indoor flowering takes around 8 weeks, although the breeder notes that some phenotypes may be ready after 45–48 days. The stated indoor yield is 500–600 g/m². T.H.Seeds® also highlights its oily, dense flowers as particularly suited to ice water hash production.
