Famous for being named in letters of rapper Snoop Dogg, this strain of sativa dominance grows as a shrub giving a great performance and a spectacular stimulating effect, and a sweet and fruity taste. Like the popular Girl Scout Cookies strain, the variety of marijuana Green Crack quite impressed cannabis users worldwide. Green Crak was originally bred in Athens, GA in the 1970s and was called Cush at that time. Eventually he made his way to the west coast where it was renamed Green Crack by Snoop Dogg. This variety has also been called Mango.

Green Crack had two phenotypes ; one that is almost pure Sativa and one that is 75% Indica. The best known phenotype is the sativa dominant strain.
