Kosher Pie feminized cannabis seeds - DNA Genetics
This hybridization is the result of crossing two renowned genetics: the award-winning Kosher Kush from DNA's Reserva Privada and Cherry 18 from Crockett Family Farms.
Kosher Kush, a strain from the Reserva Privada bank, won up to 6 trophies in recognized cannabis cups between 2010 and 2012. It's known for its huge terpene production with a strong earthy and diesel flavor. It typically generates large main colas during cultivation.
On the other hand, there's Cherry 18 from Crockett Family Farms, a cross between Cherry Pie and OG 18, ideal for extractions due to its excessive resin and terpene production. It produces hard, fleshy flowers covered in a thick layer of pungent white resin. Its potent effect can be narcotic due to its high THC content and its flavor profile leans towards sour fruits and fuel.
DNA Genetics has created a variety that has all the qualities to win any cannabis cup while being easy to grow. This genetic strain has a high calyx-to-leaf ratio. It has a medium to low structure and focuses its production on a large central cola. A good harvest will result in large, fleshy flowers packed with resin and terpenes down to the roots.
Indoor cultivation will yield the best results with a Sea Of Green (SOG) setup since its structure is ideal for it. This method will enhance its large central cola and increase both terpene and resin production as well as the size of the cola itself, resembling cola cans. If the maximum potential is achieved, yields of up to 400 g/m2 can be obtained in 9 weeks.
Outdoor cultivation will require more care to achieve maximum yield. The best way to do this is through topping and low-stress training (LST) techniques, which will enhance lateral branch production and vigor. With these techniques, the strain's production can be significantly increased. This variety is usually ready in October.
Kosher Pie is not lacking in trichomes, which once cured will emit an exaggerated gas smell over an earthy background. Another great virtue is its high THC content, above average, which delivers a completely narcotic effect once the smoke (or vapor) reaches the lungs.
