The other way of use is as an irrigation monitor and confirmation, placing the probe in the irrigation zone either in the substrate or where runoff accumulates.

1️⃣ Sensor Installation
Place the WD-1 on the ground to detect leaks or near the substrate to verify irrigation flow.
2️⃣ Connection to Aqua-X
Use the RJ12 splitter to integrate the WD-1 into the Aqua-X or Aqua-X Pro system.
3️⃣ APP Configuration
Adjust detection times and set alert notifications.
4️⃣ Automatic Response
If the system does not detect water within the expected time, you will receive an irrigation failure alert.
It is very important that if the WD-1 probe is used as a leak detector, it should be noted that it will only be possible to detect water that contains a certain amount of dissolved solids (municipal water, water with dissolved nutrients) since reverse osmosis water, due to its lack of electrical conductivity, cannot be detected by the trolmaster probe.
If the probe is used as a confirmation of irrigation, it should be placed in an area where excess water accumulates. Each probe is assigned an irrigation pump (individual or solenoid). Thus, when an irrigation event occurs, a reasonable waiting time will be programmed. After this time has elapsed, if the probe does not detect water, it will send an "irrigation failure" alert through the mobile application.
There is a "tank filling" function with the Aqua-X Pro (NFS-2), which is performed by placing two WD-1 probes inside the same water tank, one at the bottom and one at the top. When the controller receives the signal that the probe at the bottom has lost contact with the water, it will activate the water pump until the water level makes contact with the upper probe.
