Phytoseiulus persimilis are very voracious predatory mites, which are used to control spider mite pests. These predators are capable of consuming up to 20 eggs or larvae of tetranychid mites, 10 protonymphs or 5 adults daily, being able to kill a plague in your marijuana crop in a few days.

In many parts of the world Phytoseiulus persimilis is used as an effective predatory mite against the spider mite. Phytoseiulus persimilis is very voracious and consumes about 20 tetranychid mite eggs or larvae, 10 protonymphs or 5 adults daily.

Under normal circumstances, a population of P. persimilis grows faster than a tetranychid mite and only a female predator mite can lay a large number of eggs during her lifetime.

P. persimilis is capable of eliminating a colony of tetranychid mites in a matter of days.

Phytoseiulus can be applied to various greenhouse horticultural and ornamental crops such as tomato, sweet pepper, cucumber, melon, eggplant, strawberry, bean, gerbera, rose and some potted plants.
