Solution Preparation Instructions

Initial Preparation:

  1. Remove nematode packets from the packaging.
  2. Allow packets to reach room temperature for 30 minutes.

Dissolution in Water:

  1. Empty the contents of each packet into a bucket containing at least 2 liters of water per packet.
  2. Ensure the water temperature is between 15-20ºC (59-68ºF).

Soaking and Mixing:

  1. Stir the solution well and let it stand for 5 minutes.
  2. Stir the mixture again.

Transfer to Spray Tank:

  1. Pour the contents into a spray tank that is half full.
    • Note: If mixing the tank with a compatible product, pour in Entonem last, into a fully filled tank.
  2. Keep the mixture continuously agitated (e.g., with a recirculation pump).

Final Tank Filling:

  1. Fill the tank with the required amount of water.

Application Instructions

Application Equipment:

Nematodes can be applied using:

  • A watering can.
  • A compressed air sprayer.
  • An irrigation system.
  • A backpack sprayer.
  • A motorized sprayer.

Blockage Prevention:

  • Remove all filters, especially those smaller than 0.3 mm (50 mesh).

Nozzle Configuration:

  • Use a maximum pressure of 20 bars / 290 psi (at the nozzle).
  • Ensure the nozzle opening is at least 0.5 mm (35 mesh).
  • Preference: Fast flow cone nozzles.

Constant Mixing:

  • Keep the mixture in constant agitation to prevent nematodes from settling at the bottom of the tank.

Tank Conditions:

  • The tank water temperature should not exceed 25ºC (77ºF).
  • The water pH should be between 4 and 8.

Solution Application:

  • Evenly spray the solution over the surface of the soil or substrate in the cultivation area.

Application via Irrigation Systems:

  • For irrigation or Dosatron/Venturi systems, it is recommended to use pressure-compensated irrigation systems.
  • If unavailable, prefer spray or drench applications.
  • For injection via Dosatron/Venturi, seek specific advice.

Application Timing:

  • Spray the solution as soon as possible after preparation.
  • Complete the application within a maximum of 5 hours.
  • Do not store suspensions once mixed.

Environmental Conditions

Temperature Range:

  • Soil or air temperature should be between 5ºC (41ºF) and 35ºC (95ºF) to avoid lethal conditions for nematodes.
  • The optimal temperature range is between 19º-31ºC (66-88ºF).

UV Sensitivity:

  • Nematodes are sensitive to ultraviolet light (UV). Avoid exposure to direct sunlight.

Soil Moisture Content:

  • Keep the soil moisture content elevated for several days after application.
  • It is advisable to water the crop before and immediately after application.

Foliar Applications:

  • Spray Entonem when relative humidity exceeds 75% for several hours after treatment.
  • Using an adjuvant or anti-desiccant/wetting agent can be beneficial.

Application Timing:

  • Spray in the late evening or early morning so nematodes can act under optimal temperature and humidity conditions as described above.

Storage

After Receipt:

  • Packets can be stored until the expiration date if unopened.

Storage Temperature:

  • Keep packets at a temperature of 2-6ºC (36-43ºF).
  • They can be stored in a household refrigerator, ensuring the temperature does not drop below 2ºC.
